Robin Dunford

Robin Dunford aged 63, retired

I have been visually impaired since birth. My eye condition is corneal ulcers, cataracts, and coloboma of the iris.

Since i was fitted with a scleral lens two years ago my vision has been stable, and i am able to manage quite well with day to day living. At the moment my vision rarely alters.

A situation that i find tricky is reading the boards at train and bus stations so i tend to ask someone what the times are.

I hope the exhibition will lead to members of the public having   an understanding of how visually impaired people see things through their various eye    conditions when they are looking at items such as paintings and other things of interest.

Robin is collaborating with Lindsey Whitelaw, who will produce artwork based on his visual perspective
