This is a monochrome painting in black-and-white. In the foreground centre right, a shrouded figure in a long dark coat is walking along a boarded up urban street. The background is made up of a series of rectangular shapes in tones of greys, hinting at hoardings, posters and closed up shops . There is it ghostly quality to the image the figure and the background appear to merge into one another.

Off centre right a shrouded figure in a dark long dark coat appears against a misty backdrop of hoardings and signs which are barely visible Indistinct lettering is shown in the top left-hand corner of the image and again the top right
