Subarachnoid brain haemorrhage

A subarachnoid haemorrhage is an uncommon type of stroke caused by bleeding on the surface of the brain. Symptoms vary depending on size and location of the bleed, in some cases it can affect the area of the brain that controls vision, this can cause parts of the vision to become missing or full vision loss.

One example of how vision can be affected by a brain haemorrhage is homonymous hemianopia.
