Yel-low

Samantha Leftwich

“I’ve got an image of sunflowers that I’ve taken most of the colour out of apart from the yellow as when my blood sugar is low I appear to see everything in grey scale apart from yellow which is the last colour to go. This is a new thing since losing my sight.

This image I’m toying with the idea of naming it something like ‘Yel-low’ to combine the colour of yellow that remains when my sugar is low.”

(Image shows a full sunflower with parts of their sunflowers next to and behind it. The image is mostly black and white apart from the yellow in the flowers. There are leaves and stalks of plants in the image.)
